What this adds to the kit.
In normal macro photography, shadows are cast on the subject by the camera or photographer's hands. The LED Light Guide LG-1 uses an LED light on the camera body to evenly illuminate your subject for completely shadow-free photography. With the LG-1, the camera's closest focusing distance to the subject is 1 cm, making it possible to shoot a flat surface easily. The illumination technology used in the LG-1 is created with the same know-how as that used in endoscope products.
